The easiest boss in SSC. A two-phase repeating encounter where the raid fights from platforms around a pool. Requires awareness of Spout and add management.

Key Mechanics

Spout (360-degree rotating water jet)
Whirl (melee knockback into water)
Geyser (random ranged knockback)
Phase 2: Submerge + adds on platforms
Scalding Water (pool damage)

The raid stands on platforms around a central pool. Phase 1: Tank the Lurker on the inner ring. Melee DPS on the boss. Ranged spread on outer platforms. When Spout begins, melee must follow its rotation direction to stay behind it, or everyone can jump into the water briefly (take minor Scalding Water damage). Phase 2: The Lurker submerges and adds spawn on each platform — Coilfang Guardians (melee, tanked) and Coilfang Ambushers (ranged, CC or burn). Kill adds before the Lurker resurfaces. Three tanks needed: one for boss, two for Guardian adds.
